Description
We are looking for you as a Firmware Engineer – Embedded Systems (m/f/d/i) !
As a Firmware Engineer within the R&D team for embedded systems, you are responsible for the integration of system firmware using embedded C microcontrollers based on ARM structures. You will develop concepts and be responsible for the implementation, setup and validation of system relevant hardware, software and circuits. You will be working with complex development guidelines and validation standards and be the central contact person for all software- and hardware specific questions within a global structured team.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Several years of experience within embedded systems and firmware development
- High proficiency in embedded C programming
- Very good understanding regarding electrical circuits as well as system debugging
- Strong background with microcontroller structures (ARM preferred) and peripherals such as analog-digital (mixed-signal) converter and pulse width modulators
- Deep understanding of communication microcontroller peripherals like I2C, UART, SPI or DMA
- Experience in JIRA (Confluence), GIT, Jenkins
- Fluency in English is required
- German language skills are a plus
