Description

We are looking for you as Senior Optical AIT (m/f/d/i) !

As a Senior Optical AIT, you will work with your test team to develop the theoretical, optical performance of real flight hardware for space instruments in the clean room.
You will be responsible for optical alignment and test of optical instruments as well as definition, procurement of tools for OGSE (Optical Ground Support Equipment). Depending on the size and phase of the project, you will provide operational leadership and support to the Optical AIT team in the office as well as hands-on in the cleanroom and laboratory.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, aerospace or comparable
  • Knowledge of optical manufacturing/coating technology, mechanical manufacturing, and metrology (CMM) is desirable
  • Practical knowledge in the field of optics, assembly in prototyping is desirable
  • First work experience in clean rooms (ISO5 / class 100)
  • High willingness to travel
  • First professional experience in personnel management is required
  • Fluent English and German, both written and spoken
